Youth Ministry Team Lead
"I am from Ethiopia and I’ve been in the US for 2 and half years. I have been married to Tori for about 2 1/2 years, and she is a native of the northern Virginia area. We are very excited to be expecting our first born this January! I was born and raised in the capital of Ethiopia, Addis Ababa. I gave my life to Jesus when I was 13 years old and my journey following Him has been nothing short of breathtaking. I met Tori while she was an intern with America World Adoption, the same company that I worked for at that time. I believe God has me in this country for a reason. In addition, we feel that He has led our family to Bridge Community Church and we’ve been blessed by the warm welcome that we’ve received. We are looking forward to all that God has in store!"
"Ministry in its simplest form is sharing your journey with others; you get to share the truth that is burning in your heart, nothing more and nothing less. What I would love from you as we continue working with the middle & high school students:"
- PRAYER! Our group currently meets every other week together with CCC’s youth group. I would love to see us meet weekly, grow in discipleship programs, break the middle school and high school students into two groups to better accommodate their needs, and watch His glory unfold in this church, community, and beyond.
- YOU! If you’re looking to be challenged - then engage a group of young people, challenge yourself to pursue God, and grow as part of our vital leadership team! If this challenge interests you - then contact me and we can consider together what it would look like to share our hearts to advance His kingdom and explore potential ways for you to get involved.
